Saint-Tropez, June 16, 2026 – The inshore racing phase of the 73rd edition of the Loro Piana Giraglia, one of the most prestigious events on the international sailing calendar, came to a close today in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

Over four consecutive days, crews competed in a series of coastal races along the French Riviera, facing varying weather conditions and highly technical racecourses. These races provided an important opportunity for teams to fine-tune their performance and teamwork ahead of the event’s most anticipated stage.

The Nuncas Marine Sailing Team successfully completed the inshore series, gaining valuable experience and further strengthening crew coordination as preparations continue for the next phase of the competition.

For more than seventy years, the Loro Piana Giraglia has been a benchmark event in Mediterranean offshore sailing, bringing together professional sailors and passionate competitors from around the world in a unique blend of tradition, sport, and respect for the sea.

Attention now turns to the offshore race, with the start scheduled for tomorrow morning at approximately 11:00 AM. This iconic challenge will see the fleet leave Saint-Tropez and embark on one of the most renowned offshore courses in international sailing.

For the Nuncas Marine Sailing Team, it marks the beginning of a new chapter in this remarkable event—approached with the same values that define every activity of the team: preparation, commitment, teamwork, and a deep passion for the sea.

Over the coming days, we will continue to share updates, images, and stories from the race as the team progresses through the next stage of the Loro Piana Giraglia.
